Samsung to launch Galaxy A34, Galaxy A54 5G smartphones in India next week: what to expect

After recently launching its latest flagship S23 series smartphone in India, South Korean tech giant Samsung is all set to launch at least two new A-series 5G phones in India and globally. According to a new report, Samsung will launch the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G smartphones on March 15, Wednesday.

According to IANS, the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G smartphones are likely to be priced between Rs 30,000 and Rs 40,000 in India. Both the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 add to Samsung’s lineup of 5G-ready smartphones and help the company maintain its 5G leadership in India.

The Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G will follow last year’s Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A33 models. The prices of these two smartphones are likely to be slightly higher than last year’s devices and the increase may be due to the higher memory variants, according to the report.

According to the report, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A34 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset, along with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. On the other hand, the Galaxy A54 5G features an Exynos 1380 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

That said, both the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G are likely to feature Super AMOLED displays, a 5,000mAh battery, and 25W fast charging. Both devices are expected to feature Android 13 operating system.

In its report, IANS also said that Samsung has been bringing flagship innovations to the Galaxy A series of smartphones over the years.

This year, the company is introducing the Nightography feature on the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G. According to sources, Samsung is also likely to introduce exciting offers on the two smartphones for a limited time. The launch of the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G brings Samsung’s A-series smartphone lineup to four premium mid-range smartphones this year, it noted.
